About the role

We’re looking for a junior Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us scale our pipeline and expand into new markets.
This is a high-impact, entry-level role for someone early in their career who wants to break into SaaS and learn how modern sales teams operate.
You’ll play a key role across both:

  • Pipeline generation (supporting and qualifying inbound demand)
  • Market expansion (prospecting into new segments like law firms and financial advisors)

You’ll work closely with our Growth team (Sales, Marketing, and CX) and gain exposure across the full customer journey.

What you’ll do

  • Prospect and generate new leads through outbound efforts (calls, emails, LinkedIn)
  • Research and identify target accounts across legal and financial services
  • Book meetings and product demos for Account Executives
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, messaging, and outbound strategies
  • Test and iterate on prospecting approaches as we enter new markets
  • Attend and represent eState Planner at sponsored events and conferences
  • Build relationships with prospects and maintain consistent follow-ups
  • Track activity and manage pipeline in HubSpot
  • Report on key metrics and pipeline contribution

What we’re looking for

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or similar
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Comfortable with (or willing to learn) outbound prospecting and cold outreach
  • Highly motivated, curious, and eager to learn
  • Organized and able to manage multiple conversations at once
  • Interest in SaaS, startups, or fintech/legaltech
  • Experience with HubSpot or a CRM is a plus (not required)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $40,000 – $50,000 CAD
  • On-target earnings (OTE): $55,000 – $65,000 CAD
  • Opportunity to increase earnings as you ramp and exceed targets

Compensation
